Musk was asked what Neuralink expected to do in 2022 during a live-streamed conversation at The Wall Street Journal CEO council summit on monday.
What is Neuralink?
Elon Musk established Neuralink in 2016 to develop a human-machine interface that would allow humans to connect directly with computers. People who get a chip implanted in their brains can manage the device only with their brains, regardless of their physical deformities. According to Neuralink, the device has micron-scale threads connected to parts of the brain that control movement. These threads deliver messages to those brain areas, directing them to perform specific functions. According to the business, this brain interface can assist a neurological injury or sickness patients.
How does the Neuralink chip work?

We expect that in about six months, we should be capable to put a Neuralink in a human, Musk said during the event.
